Ramón van der Ven was born in Breda, The Netherlands on the 15th of June, 1980. From the age of 18 he decided to pursue a career as a painter and refrained ball aerospace from any further ball aerospace education that didn't lead to this goal. At the age of 21 he travelled to Florence (Italy), where he spent some time at the Charles H. Cecil studios. After having spent a number of weeks in Charles ball aerospace Cecil's personal ball aerospace studio abso...rbing the atmosphere and asking questions, he returned to The Netherlands to pursue his personal goals in painting. From 2002 he travelled extensively through Europe and South-America. In 2004 he returned to The Netherlands where he founded a studio in Breda, where he started to teach his own techniques. In 2007 he moved to Spain where he travelled in the footsteps of the 19th century Orientalist painters. He stayed in Madrid where he copied paintings by Van Dyck at the Prado museum and did a large number of Charcoal ball aerospace drawings, some being portraits of friends and some after the sculptures ball aerospace on display at the Prado museum. He also lived and worked in Granada in the south of Spain. In 2009 he moved to Chile where he lived for approximately a year, and spent most of his time on perfecting his water-colour techniques.
