Linköping Vinnova Millions be stingy with the flow By Jan Tångring, eds (jan@etn.se) 29/11 Power-saving sensors and amplifiers - that's what two research at Linköping University will develop with the help of money from Vinnova.
Of the Vinnova Investing in total forty million crowns as Electronics magazine reported about the beginning of the month goes a quarter to two projects at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University. One project called Sehpmet - inhale - "Smart Energy Optimization with Energy Harvesting Utilizing New English Piezo MEMS Technology" - expire. It brings out an energy harvesting sensor and gets 5.8 million kronor. Silex Microsystems is a partner with their micromechanical systems in piezoelectric materials. There are materials which when subjected to pressure converts the mechanical work to electricity. The tension that arises how to become an astronaut is uneven and therefore svårskördad. So the department of electronic components will try to build a power management chip that converts it into usable AC current without conversion, in itself makes off with too much energy. The first application will be to monitor tire pressure. The vision is that the technology could be used widely in the area of Internet of things. The second project gets 3.8 million dollars and will produce a power amplifier for wireless wlan and new components for power management in 28/22 nm CMOS. Partners include how to become an astronaut the University of Uppsala, Samsung Nano Radio and MA Housing Technology. The circuits how to become an astronaut should receive at least the same PA performance gain obtained how to become an astronaut in the previous process nodes through the use of new high-voltage components and new circuit how to become an astronaut architectures.

By Anna Wennberg (anna@etn.se) 29/10 Anna Wennberg: Sweden's innovative - but what comes next? Did you know that Sweden for the third consecutive year, tops the European Commission's ranking of industrial innovators among member states? Or to Sweden - also for the third year in a row - is second bumar on the list of world's most innovative countries in the Global Innovation Index?
Only Switzerland are on the list, made by the United Nations Office for Intellectual Property WIPO and the international business school INSEAD. When the EU released its innovation ranking last spring tweeted Foreign bumar Minister Carl Bildt content from his office "Nice to See that Sweden is ranked as the No. 1 innovation country in the EU. We must Strive to keep That position ". And shortly after that Sweden was named the second best country in innovations in the summer it was time for the government to demonstrate decisiveness. With Industry Minister Annie Loof spearheaded was a pilot effort to strengthen the growth of small-and medium-sized innovative companies. Government invested to twelve million over two years, with the stated goal of "Sweden will be the best." Twelve million extra to Vinnova and Almi to stimulate SMEs' innovation work - what gives? Not much. On the contrary, became fierce criticism from companies, are dying to get support. The move is populist, it is said. Rather than pointing businesses on a huge funding gap. Almi support in ten thousand, so do Vinnova through programs such as Research & Grow. VCs on the other hand, if they are investing, managing bags of money in the millions. Sure, Sweden is good at research and development, but the Swedish start-up companies are living on the breadline. They have an idea of world-class, spun off from academia, earning a little money on their business from the start, but may not capital enough to take the big step out of the scientific community. Silicon Carbide Company Ascatron is one such example. Despite a world-class technology (link) is the interest from Swedish investors say the least sluggish. The only obvious way out seems to be that a semiconductor company comes knocking on the door, like the one that occurred when silicon carbide colleague Transic bought by Fairchild for just over two years ago. The trend among Swedish innovation company is therefore to turn against the EU and the U.S. to bring in venture capital from investors who want to help commercialize the technology. Battery Company Nilar (link) has spent much time in London to pick up capital for the factory now being built in Gävle. That our politicians need to realize is that the acute cash shortage of Swedish innovation company arises when the actual commercialization begins. In Sweden there are extremely few who want to invest in that stage. Wallenberg-owned Foundation Asset Management is a venture capitalist who, for example, has invested in solar company Solar Voltaics, real estate Wallenstam bumar with its focus on solar company bumar Exeger is another - but it requires more effort. At this stage, innovative government initiatives have a major long-term importance - not only for individual companies but also for the future Swedish government finances. bumar

Vinnova, the Swedish working Rebecka Engström has used the analogy of bread dough, the presentation

In Sweden, for residential and commercial buildings are responsible for about 30% of its final energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by 7%. The aim is to reduce energy consumption by 20% by 2020 and half by the year 2050, when the reference fighters generation level for the 1995 level. Government's energy contract also requires that the use of fossil fuels for heating will be eliminated by 2020. How Sweden is developing sustainable fighters generation cities?
Vinnova, the Swedish working Rebecka Engström has used the analogy of bread dough, the presentation of sustainable urban development. Leipäänhän needed flour, water, yeast and salt. To improve the taste - or bread influenced by the increase of health - elements can be added.
What about the sustainable city? There are materials in the people, parks, water supply, waste management, energy, transport, fighters generation real estate, infrastructure, decision-makers and industry. How can these be administered in a bowl so that sustainable urban bread rises well, tastes delicious and is also under healthy?
Recently, fighters generation I pörrännyt a lot of the Swedish land sustainability and energy efficiency issues. My understanding of how a sustainable city, the same appears to be a challenge for our countries, it is at the same time strengthened.
In Sweden, however, the injected eye somehow different attitude. In fact, they want to raise environmental awareness, rooted as part of the culture. fighters generation And what to avoid, näkyyhän it to outsiders. In addition, Sweden also seems to be stronger than the purchase of services culture. Similarly, the mental risk tolerance seems to be harder perhaps. Perhaps the fear of failure is lower?
Something confidence in our neighboring country people also, that perhaps we nöyriltä Finnish missing. fighters generation Finnish when you do not absolutely do not want to exaggerate their achievements. The Swedes, however, can tell you what they are doing well and will be happy - do not overdo it, but not the abject towards. fighters generation It can be modeled. For if we want 2017 to be back in the built environment energy efficiency in the leading countries, it should also tell you.
Maybe it's often flout the diskutera culture is not so bad. Tuottaahan it visibly, as well as the result of the success stories, because when the conversation is over, all of which are ready for action. And even if it is passed conversed a while, it'll get faster in forward fighters generation together.
In Sweden, to mention a sustainable fighters generation built environment are not developed and not hidden in one silo. Explore the Sveriges Bygguniversitet virtual university, where the country's most important industry, universities provide a common service and virtual education fighters generation as a top university. No worse idea - how about it, perhaps to Finland?
Interest-related research, development and innovation on the other hand is not financed from national funds in Sweden only a single operator over the counter, but with the buzzing several dividers and many different opinions. On energy, the maximum liability position Energimyndigheten, but Tekes, for example, very much resembling the Vinnova has also taken the agendas of sustainable cities, fighters generation and sustainable cities in the delegation (Delegation of hållbara Städer, www.hallbarastader.gov.se).
Among the projects funded by the Delegation can find great inspiration for us. And why not exciting points of comparison - the smaller cities. Did you know that the Covenant of Mayors is a signatory to 50 cities in Sweden? In Finland the figure is 6 We the signatories of the six major, Sweden when the contract is signed by a diverse group of Jokkmokk in Stockholm (which by the way was 5200 inhabitants).
Nöyristelyyn to forget in relation to discover the Stockholm Royal Seaport (www.stockholmroyalseaport.com) area. It is built little by little Swedish showcase to the world. Stockholm Royal Seaport is abject fighters generation towards, but going to the best. It is also the first in the northern countries, the Clinton fighters generation Climate Initiative (http://www.clintonfoundation.org/what-we-do/clinton-climate-initiative/) member.

Two who just received yes to support predator drone the Roadmap: Sweden, Phase II and Agenda marine power generation. Agenda Roadmap: Sweden, Phase II is planned as a next step after that in the first phase have been able to demonstrate the benefits of electrification of the Swedish fleet. In step two, now wants to point the way by creating a national strategy and by identifying urgent and feasible demonstration program. predator drone This will be done under the direction of Volvo Cars in harmony with over 80 other players, including AB Volvo, Siemens, Vattenfall and Autoliv. Agenda marine power generation works to offshore power generation and to become predator drone a large-scale Swedish industry. Through a survey of the existing infrastructure predator drone should develop a plan for the development of Uppsala University's research area for wave energy outside Lysekil a nationally available platform for wave energy development. Here also includes the development of a plan for demonstration and test-bed for floating wind turbines. The doctor has a good point in his discussion paper on Information yesterday: Doctors performing a colossal documentation work, which takes a lot of time from actual patient contact. I sort of agree with her that it's a big problem. The health sector should really document everything, and there is shame also cases where the same evidence is achieved in different systems because they are not compatible.
It is no more evidence - it is the use of checklists for complicated procedures. Checklists, you do not necessarily need to save. It is a tool for yourself, so that you avoid making mistakes in a complicated world. When the procedure is finished, you can really just throw out the checklist.
Pilots use checklists. Astronauts use checklists. Engineers use checklists. But after working with quality assurance and checklists in healthcare for almost eight years, I have learned one thing: It's really hard to get doctors to use checklists!
I have previously written about Atul Gawandes book "The Checklist depleted kyparium rocket Manifesto," which tells the story of a surgeon depleted kyparium rocket who issues a checklist for WHO. He is fighting an uphill battle to get his colleagues to use the list, yes, he feels, in fact, even that he needs it. If it does not clean up the doctors to be today, what is the purpose of introducing yet another check for the things done? Powers not things today there is hardly value that introduces even more they have to consider.

American geologists have found a number of dimples on the surface of Mars that could be entrances to a cave system on the red planet. If there is life on Mars, caves is perhaps the best bet. By Thomas AE Andersen 1 November 2009 kl. 16:00
Analyses of images has shown signs of tunnels cl&p outage map beneath the surface of Mars. The geologist Glen Cushing cl&p outage map of the U.S. Geological Survey who has discovered the possible holes, and he believes that there is so far the most compelling findings.
In addition to these caves can be home to past or present Martian microbes, the discovery of the actual value that they can provide protection for future astronauts to visit Mars.
Lowering provided appears to be a set of long grooved surfaces with shapes similar to the entrances to the tunnel-like structures. The grooves are more than 100 km long and about 100 meters wide. The holes down the structures seem to be between 50 and 60 meters in diameter.
Glen Cushing believes that the grooves are created when a solid layer of cooled material formed over older lava channels by older volcanic eruptions. Since the outbreak ended, the structures left behind and later parts of the ceiling collapsed and created a kind of "skylights".
Glen Cushing points out that the new structures are closer to the surface and less. This will be easier to explore for future astronauts on Mars. If it turns out that in the case of inputs to a hollow system, it could be to protect against the danger astronauts cl&p outage map as solar eruptions, dust storms, and extreme temperatures.
It is now exactly 117ende time someone thinks' there might be life on Mars.
Why should not there be the possibility cl&p outage map of life on Mars, it's because God created the earth?
Let's just say I have more faith in George Carlin than God. My point is simply that it is naive to think that there would be life on other than Earth - in our solar system. [/ Quote] Why is it naive to think that there would be life on other than earth, it is because cl&p outage map God created the earth?
It's always nice to personal cl&p outage map attacks.
Except for just Saturday night, of course. Some fun they must be out there.
Then of course there is the possibility of some of the moons in the solar system, and the possibility that life may actually exist on a larger scale than we can see, because our completely eye and abilities are limited. Maybe waves, and things we can not perceive, and perhaps we will not be able to comprehend life, if we discover a "transformation" of the universe down to and including a quantum level, which can transmit the real universe, a universe cl&p outage map where we can see the life. Our view of the universe is a result of our design and what we see when we look at the universe. If we find the true universe, we discover, perhaps, that life exists beyond our comprehension. You may use mathematical transformations of which can be measured, that we will be able to prove the existence of a life outside our perception of reality.
I just got a sudden enough of cocksure claims from people who are not far inside the subject. There are a lot of here at Ing. It was my assumption that you are not an expert in the relevant fields of research.
Of course we have always cl&p outage map entitled to his opinion and to express cl&p outage map it. It just seems absurd that experts say a then comes a mocking post from a random ing reader who says that the experts as too stupid.
Only a mindless idiot would NOT put enormous resources into the search for life on mars!
It's quite clear you are naive :)
if only there is life at the atomic level and safe also crystalline. fun every time you will find life to be something that must be like us and prefer to be something that can be dangerous and must be combated.
Think it could be really fun and know when temp the display is between 25 + C and 125-C of March, an artificial atmosphere might even be able to give the planet a good livelihood, which I really think many have a theory about the planet had again .. So there could easily be bacterial cl&p outage map life there, also there's an atmosphere as there are regular storms ..

Conspiracy theorists have a theory that has never been humans on the moon. A theory that scientists criticize. But the conspiracy theorists will not take the criticism seriously - and why they work is not scientifically with their own theory. It considers the critical rationalism. (Photo: NASA)
For many years, very tenacious people gathered evidence that the whole moon landing was a fake. Think for example of the flag that astronaut plants in the lunar dirt. How does that flutter when there is no wind on the moon?
Unfortunately we can not take the fascinating scientific theory seriously. Real scientists are trying namely to test or test a theory instead of just forcing to prove it - the science has learned from the so-called 'critical rationalism'.
"When researchers have identified a result, hal moore they try to prove that it does not hold. It is only the theories that can be tested, we can call scientific, "says associate hal moore professor hal moore emeritus in the Department of Physics and Astronomy - Science Studies, Aarhus University, Kurt Møller Pedersen, researcher in critical rationalism. Jupiter moon teased hal moore the great scientist
The people behind hal moore the conspiracy theories about the moon landing is so confident that they are right, hal moore they will not listen to criticism of their wild theories. They hold on to them and will not move even an inch.
Such a hypothesis / theory would Karl Popper called for a "bold hypothesis'. We do not know if it holds. And even when a researcher believes he has proven the theory, other scientists come up with a new 'bold hypothesis' that creates doubt.
He could not get things to fit. 'Io' behaved like a fool. The renowned scientist could not foresee the annoying moon orbits. The speed of light is a 'bold hal moore hypothesis'
Eventually, Ole Roemer only one explanation of the mystery: The light of the tricky moon may take longer to travel to Earth, the farther away it was.
"At the time it was believed that light had infinite speed. So it was a 'bold hypothesis' - as 'critical rationalism' would call it, "says Kurt Moller Pedersen. Ole Roemer got resounding criticism hal moore
Other scientists criticized hal moore Ole Roemer sins and together. They did not believe he had proved anything - because when you looked at Jupiter's other moons, could not recreate the spectacular result. And it had to Ole Roemer give them right in.
This could Mr. Romer toss his work in the trash. But instead, he did exactly what 'critical rationalism' says to do. New 'bold hypothesis' saved Rømers theory
Romer did not throw the theory away. He said: Then we have a problem! And then he worked on the theory hal moore and solved the problem by finding a new 'bold hypothesis', "says Kurt Moller Pedersen.
The great Danish scientist listened to say after what his scientific colleagues said. And it took note - unlike the moon landing-conspiracy theorists who will not listen to criticism. Science should be criticized - and take the criticism
Instead of scientists constantly trying to prove that they are right, they try to prove that they are right. Scientific theories are namely never secured fully developed. Perhaps there is soon a researcher who proves that the light does not have a delay - we do not know.
Very science hal moore must be prepared to develop. And science progresses only if you find errors and mysteries of the scientific theories, as then fixing them. In this way, science from religion. 'God exists' is not a scientific theory
"But you can not test whether 'God exists', and that, according to Karl Popper, hal moore makes the theory unscientific," says Kurt Moller Pedersen. If a believer will prove that God exists, he can point out the window and say, 'Behold, all that God has created - therefore there is a God!' An atheist who does not believe in God, can just as easily say: 'No, I do not believe.'
In this way, the theory of the existence of God just be a matter of faith - not on knowledge. We have no håndgribeli

Only stupid people believe in God, believe Politiken earlier debatredaktr. For no one can prove the existence of God. But you can not disprove it, writes former sogneprst PREVIOUS debatredaktrp newspaper Politiken, former channel manager for DR 2, and now again studievrt olin p Deadline Adam Holm has written a much discussed article in its old newspaper , Politiken, 12 May
Chronicle called the guddummelige tragedy has given rise to an interview told the paper 24 May It is not a misprint. To tr guddummelig. God is stupid or it's stupid people who believe in a god that does not exist. Isr the clergy and theologians are stupid because people think they are something because they believe in a god, there is no evidence. Adam Holm is wiser, but apparently annoyed that the faithful fr too much talk in the media and elsewhere. LS ALSO: Is it foolish to believe in God? It is not srlig reassuring olin with such prejudice in deadline-editors of church, on the theological university studies on members of religious communities and religious debate at all.
Ad Adam Holm calls for only one specific reference olin to the existence of God. But no, no believer has obviously shaped to pvise that there actually is a god, he hvder. His argument is on a par with the Russian astronaut who in 1950 was shot into space and, the Soviet people that he really had not seen any god on his journey through the universe. Adam Holm would like foremost a strict atheist. And p t m point you really agree with him: God is incomprehensible. There is no evidence for his existence. Science can not prove God's existence. But Adam Holm forget that science just as little can disprove the existence of God. There is something else at stake than what science employs olin with. It has fet some religious philosophers to use the paradoxical expression that God exists, but that he is as fravrende, as a gudsformrkelse which perhaps makes it impossible for people olin today to rely on the concept of God as a reality. IF atheism IS UPON U.S. today, so these are a reality and some TERMS exceeding everything a human abilities and availeth. The m s we struggle with. It is not a question of what science says. We can not gre us finished with religion just by referring to science or to life and using the the. A person can reach a grnse for what it can make and understand. In theology we speak (yet) about transcendence, what degrees beyond what we can comprehend and master. We m distinguish between what we can comprehend, and what we can not comprehend. That's what the old Askov Manager Knud Hansen emphasizes in Article Collection About having the courage to live with the old expression vederfarelse. Something we can control and grasp and set conditions olin for. Nothing befalls us is us in on life. And also what we can not comprehend, m we talk to each other also in Deadline and DR 2 and in the newspapers, among other things, God is hidden and fravrende, and tilvrelsen is become bitter and bitter. About all the thoughts, using the the can give rise to the young boy who died in a traffic accident as Adam Holm recounts and takes hostage olin to get started with missionary for his militant atheism. The two little boys were looked after by grandparents. At bedtime, they knelt by their beds to say

Man has been on the moon sometimes, and of the activity we have left a part. Almost all of it is lunar vehicles and other, but there are also a few golf balls up there and the familiar American flag from the Apollo 11 landing, and as previously discussed infocomm 2013 here mirrors that used for scientific purposes here on Earth. Almost all the objects were left with NASA's approval, or at least the organization's knowledge. "Almost all" because an object in the picture was smuggled aboard Apollo 15 mission.

The article is called "The infocomm 2013 Fallen Astronaut" is a small aluminum statue (about 3 inches high) and a plaque with the name of eight U.S. astronauts and six Soviet cosmonauts who died during the space race. It is considered to be the only piece of art on the moon, as mentioned by Science infocomm 2013 Blogs, and was created by the Belgian artist Paul Van Hoeydonck.
Before Apollo 15 went out into the cosmos met astrunauten David Scott Van Hoeydonck happen at a dinner party. The two got to talking and came up with the idea of the work of art. (Van Hoeydonck later claimed infocomm 2013 that he did not know that the statue was intended as a memorial thing, instead he thought it was supposed to represent all of humanity.) Scott gave according to Wikipedia infocomm 2013 Van Hoeydonck are certain infocomm 2013 rules that the sculpture had to meet.
Along with the physical demands of the figure almost nothing had roads and yet solid, and that it should be able to withstand extreme temperature fraud losses on the moon, had statuette, not like a man or woman, or be linked to any specific ethnic group . Furthermore, in order to meet Scott's desire to avoid the commercialization of space should Van Hoeydocks name not be published.
Along with Jim Irwin, another of Apollo15 astronauts, Scott was able to bring 'The Fallen Astronaut' board without NASA's knowledge. The two placed the statue of Mons Hadley, one of Moon's highest places around. 4.5 km high. (Mons Huygens 5.5 kilometer is perhaps the highest) When they returned to Earth informed the NASA on their unlicensed infocomm 2013 mini-museum, and NASA did not seem more about it. (Of course it was to send astronauts back to pick up the object definitely not an option). NASA asked the astronauts to have made another infocomm 2013 statuette, so that the administration could have a copy, so we know that it is Van Hoeydonck was its creator.
Van Hoeydonck, who was now known, made another 50 or so copies infocomm 2013 statuettes with the intent to sell them, and even turned into a gallery that could stand for sale. After NASA got wind of a possible sale (perhaps through infocomm 2013 one of the commercials) they asked him to refrain from it, and he agreed. In 2007, again according to Wikipedia, was Van Hoeydonck only one of the copies (in addition to the one that was given to NASA) in its possession.
Bonus fact: 'The Fallen Astronaut' is perhaps not the only piece of art on the Moon. As told by USA Today, it is very likely that six artists, including Andy Warhol, created infocomm 2013 a work of art the size of a thumb, and the Apollo 12 astronauts brought it to the moon. The little things are still on the Moon can copy edition, seen below. http://nowiknow.com/lunar-art/
Here comes now and then a new joke. Share it with others infocomm 2013 Charme Trick:
