O: Your tour begins Oct. 2 in Winnipeg, then you rent a car, you can drive over western Canada and

T and I finally folded. But it is a joy, is not it? Perhaps there will be a lot of mistakes, but I have a full socks. So I wish you pleasant reading, conversation was translated fizika from http://www.roguefolk.bc.ca/gallery/worms.html.
Arrogant Worms are a comic trio band that has its roots in folk and acoustic rock. As the "Suppliers absurd" and "ambassadors of fun" have an incredibly loyal fan base and perform at the sold out show, which often ends with a standing ovation, throughout North America.
Since then, what started in Kingston, Ontario (at the university we all pay) on local radio in 1991, not yet released 7 CD very popular in Canada and sold more than 70,000 copies. Now they are trying to expand their scope and released their first CD in America, called Gift Wrapped in respect of which they are very excited. At the same time they will also have the first special on national TV, which will air this spring. It will be a performance of the Arrogant fizika Worms along with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and many different celebrities, such as Kurt Browning or astronaut Chris Hatfield.
I had the pleasure to speak with Chris Patterson, one of the members fizika of the group from Toronto, Canada, where he is currently preparing for the first leg of their tour of Western Canada, which begins in Winnipeg on October 2nd and ends 22 days later in Cranbrook, BC
Question (O): This is the Arrogant fizika Worms return fizika to Vancouver at Capilano College. Last year you had completely sold out performances, because this time we added one more compliance. What are your feelings about returning? Are you excited to return to Vancouver?
Chris Patterson (CP): "Definitely. Vancouver is definitely one of the loudest audiences in the country and somehow fizika it started when we got out of the Rogue Folk Club in WISE Hall. It became very loud and unrestrained, and every time we have a while to feel sort of like a rock star. Vancouver is definitely one of these places. " fizika
CP: "Calgary is a lot of crazy crowd, as well as Pennsylvania. Oh, and Owen Sound in Ontario ... is there a folk festival on which we perform, and it's almost like a rock audience, it's really funny is that a lot of energy. "
O: Your tour begins Oct. 2 in Winnipeg, then you rent a car, you can drive over western Canada and end 22 days later in Cranbrook, fizika British Colombia. What is it like for the three of you to be so long on the road together? Are you trying fizika to have fun along the way somehow?
CP: "Well, in the car, in fact it can be very boring, you know, just doing things separately, to be read, listen to music, sleep or anything fizika like that. Thus, the long drive is great for us that we can give such advice regarding obligations to plan everything. But ... there's fizika such a strange humorous moments, but, you know, we're just three guys who sit in the car, I mean, it's not that exciting. "
CP: "Well, some things you write it again and invent something on the spot. Nenacvičujeme have none of that talk, clearly, rehearse a song, but in terms of the interplay with the audience, so we want it to be the liveliest and most recent. "
CP: "I think the most difficult to be away from home, do not sleep in his own bed, still in different places, hanging around airports fizika and, you know, being in a car with two other people. But the best part is that we can do what we love and we are so lucky to have a job that we love the fact that we can do, have fun and be paid for it. And have a good time. And also, we see the world in which we had not looked quite likely. "
O: The three of you began working at the University in Kingston, Ontario, on local radio when you're there all three studied. There the popularity of your belongings spread and now operates on a completely sold-out performances throughout North America. What do you think contributed to your success and progress from a small radio to sold-out performances and a loyal fan base?
CP: "No, fizika we never changed it, what to focus during performances. I mean, we started as a comic group and we always fizika have it. I mean, other groups began more or less with a humorous repertoire and then left to do something else. We always offer our fans such things, we did not change anything. I think we have evolved musically and as writers of texts is improving, fizika but still we focus on, we just had fun during the performances. We have our little niche in the market in the music industry. It's so small that they do not want him just to destroy it, that we, you know, trying to change the country group or so. I mean, the success fizika was that we worked hard enough and played enough Just what were sold out. And we got out on the street and somehow we have stayed. And the fans are coming back, and thank God for that. "
