Here are singing Larissa Mondrus

Welcome to the blog, there is going to be about big and small, old and new, and everything and nothing. The title of the blog comes from a poetry book, lying on a café in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, which has now become this blog's motto.
The world's first spaceman
Yuri Gagarin and the beautiful TV star Larissa Mondrus.
This year marks exactly 50 years since cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin cockpit completed the world's first space flight. It was celebrated in many ways around the world, especially in the Russian cockpit Federal Space Agency. Here dumped on 18 February, a mysterious letter through the letterbox.
The historical picture, left Yuri Gagarin and the middle of picture Larissa Mondrus. The letter came from the once famous TV star Larissa Mondrus and together with the letter was a photo from New Year's Eve program "The little blue light" 1966. The little blue light was a very popular program in the Soviet Union, which was sent directly from the TV studio where they celebrated New Year's Eve. Each year, invited various guests and in 1966 were the guests cosmonauts. But back to the letter from Larissa Mondrus which said: "The cockpit meeting cockpit with the famous cosmonauts on TV, as well as other rendezvous with them makes me still happy 50 years later. I will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first human in space with my family, and in mind, I relive those historic cockpit events. " cockpit The attached cockpit photo came from New Year celebrations in the TV studio, and you see, inter alia, Yuri Gagarin and Larissa Mondrus along with the other guests in festive attire around a table with champagne, fruit bowl with all sorts of goodies and sparkling crystal glass. cockpit Gagarin carries USSR highest order, "the Soviet Union Absolutely."
Here are singing Larissa Mondrus "Cosmonaut dispute" to the assembled cockpit guests and cosmonauts cockpit Yuri Gagarin while filming her with his own movie camera.
Larissa Mondrus was an exceedingly popular stars of the 60s to the Soviet pop heaven. Her records sold in the millions. Today she lives with her husband, Egil Schwartz, in Germany, but is frequently found in Latvia, where her family cockpit comes from, and in Russia. And then ..........
Yuri Gagarin celebrated by Soviet politicians and military after his historic cockpit space flight in 1961. Note that Khrushchev immediately take my hat off in respect for Gagarin, while several of the other politicians prefer to keep my hat on.
In Yuri Gagarin's autobiography which was published in Danish as early as 1961 - can include read about some of the ideas he made himself while he was the first in history in space circled around the earth. As he flew over the western halvkule, he thought of the U.S. space pilots who most likely would follow him:
"For some reason I assumed that Alan Shepard would be the first of them, perhaps because he had me more sympathetic than the others. He had not participated in the Korean War, as his colleagues. Would the American cosmonauts make peace, as we did, or they would be done to the willing tools of those who wanted war? Would not it be great if all the world's people would follow cockpit Nikita Khrushchev's sensible proposals and undertake all efforts for a common and lasting peace. "
